The Scottsdale Community College Business School and Indigenous Scholars Institute Cloud Song Center provides education in a place designed to celebrate Native American culture. The new 32,719 SF Cloud Song Center consists of classrooms, a library, support space, and faculty offices. The building also houses the Sun Earth Alliance Indian Club, open to all SCC students and the community. The exterior consists of tilt-up concrete walls; after curing, the embedded Saguaro cactus ribs were burned, leaving behind a unique design. LEED BD+C New Construction Certified. Awarded 2018 ENR National Best of the Best Award for Small Project under $10 Million.
