He takes a hands-on management approach to building review, design and company oversight from design to the construction phase. He is known for his expert knowledge of structural systems and cost-effective applications. Mr. Koehler’s value engineering and creative thinking abilities have saved owners millions of dollars in construction costs.

Pimara Paul Koehler, LLC prefers working closely with the owner, architect, design/build contractor and other consultants to ensure the structure is cost-effective and meets the needs of all those involved. The quality and economics of the structure are determined by which structural engineering team designs it. We feel that our team brings value to the project, not cost.

PPK utilizes its extensive experience and knowledge to assist in recommendations and/or special studies to determine, in advance, the best structural system for each project. PPK will apply its expertise to ensure all alternative structural solutions are explored before recommending a cost conscious strategy to develop the most practical and cost effective system for local conditions.

On all major projects we utilize the most up to date software and state-of-the-art equipment to develop and analyze the structure including; Revit® Structure, AutoCAD, 3-D modeling capabilities, ADAPT Structural Concrete Software System, Etabs, and Ramsteel. We share these 3-D models for cross-discipline design coordination and to generate final fabrication models. The inter-discipline model helps create a great avenue for verification of project completeness and provide better cost estimates and schedule verification.

PPK has licenses in 45 states. PPK is fully covered with $5,000,000 of E&O insurance.
